Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans for various clients.
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis, comparing actual financial results to budget/forecasts and identifying key drivers of performance.
  • Support the development and maintenance of robust financial models and data analysis tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and interactive dashboards for internal stakeholders and client reviews.
  • Gather and meticulously analyze financial data, market trends, and economic conditions to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Collaborate effectively with various departments and client teams to collect pertinent financial information and gain insights into business operations.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc financial analysis projects, process improvement initiatives, and system enhancements to drive operational excellence.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a related finance role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data visualization).
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles (e.g., IFRS/GAAP), and corporate finance concepts.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to task management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CIMA, ACCA, ACA part-qualification or equivalent professional accounting designation.
  • Experience with financial reporting software (e.g., SAP BPC, Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion, Adaptive Planning).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with a strong academic record.
