Career.zycto is actively seeking a diligent and customer-focused Courier Driver for a full-time Day Shift position in Westminster, Colorado. As a vital member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation and delivery of various packages and documents to our valued clients across the local area. Key Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided vehicles safely and efficiently to transport packages and documents.
- Follow designated routes and schedules for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Load, unload, and secure packages in the vehicle, ensuring items are protected from damage.
- Verify contents of shipments against shipping documents and obtain necessary signatures.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups, representing Career.zycto professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding any delivery issues or delays.
- Handle cash or credit card transactions for COD (Cash on Delivery) orders when applicable.
Required Skills
- Valid Colorado Class R driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience (e.g., courier, delivery, rideshare).
- Proficiency in using GPS devices and navigation applications.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Westminster, Colorado area and surrounding routes.
- Previous experience in a courier or logistics role.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to identify minor vehicle issues.
