Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and personalized recommendations on beauty products (skincare, makeup, fragrance) to customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations and offer makeovers to highlight product features and benefits.
- Achieve and exceed daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all products, brands, and current beauty trends carried by the store.
- Ensure the beauty counter and displays are impeccably clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, shelving, and monitoring stock levels.
- Handle customer inquiries, provide exceptional post-purchase support, and resolve issues professionally.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
- Foster a welcoming and engaging environment for all customers.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within the beauty or cosmetics industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong passion for beauty products and an understanding of current trends.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- High level of professionalism and personal grooming standards.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- A certificate or diploma in Cosmetology, Esthetics, or a related field.
- Experience with various beauty brands and product lines.
- Ability to communicate in local languages (e.g., Shona, Ndebele) is an advantage.
- Prior experience using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
