Key Responsibilities
- Maintain adequate stock levels of liquor, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages behind the bar throughout service.
- Replenish ice bins regularly and ensure the ice machine is clean and functioning correctly.
- Wash, polish, and organize glassware, ensuring a continuous supply for bartenders.
- Prepare garnishes (slicing fruit, preparing mixes) and ensure they are fresh and readily available.
- Assist bartenders with general setup and breakdown of the bar area before, during, and after shifts.
- Empty trash bins and recycling, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Perform general cleaning duties of the bar, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning spills, and sweeping/mopping floors.
- Organize storage areas, fridges, and liquor cages.
- Handle deliveries of inventory, verifying accuracy and storing items properly.
- Support the overall team to ensure a smooth and efficient service flow.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including Smart Serve guidelines.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
