Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and stock frozen goods in designated freezer units and display cases.
- Ensure proper rotation of products (FIFO – First In, First Out) to minimize waste and maintain freshness.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the freezer department, including shelves, aisles, and storage areas.
- Monitor product temperatures and report any discrepancies to management.
- Assist with inventory counts and manage stock levels to prevent overstocking or shortages.
- Respond to customer inquiries about frozen products in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines and company policies.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks safely, if trained and certified.
- Assist with other store duties as assigned by management to ensure smooth operations.
