Job Description
Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Hotel Café Attendant to join the team at a prestigious hotel client located in the vibrant Lekki Phase 2 area of Lagos. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to a delightful guest experience. As a Hotel Café Attendant, you will be the face of our café, greeting guests with a warm smile, taking their orders with precision, and serving a variety of beverages and light food items. Beyond serving, you will play a vital role in maintaining the café’s pristine appearance, ensuring all areas are clean, tidy, and well-stocked at all times. This includes setting up and breaking down the service area, cleaning tables, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent working order. You will handle transactions accurately, manage inventory for your station, and communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, take food and beverage orders accurately, and serve items promptly.
- Prepare and serve a range of beverages including coffee, tea, smoothies, and other non-alcoholic drinks.
- Handle cash and card transactions with precision, processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the café area, including tables, counters, and equipment.
- Restock all service stations with cutlery, crockery, napkins, and condiments as needed.
- Assist with inventory management by reporting stock levels and notifying supervisors of low supplies.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve minor issues professionally, escalating complex concerns to management.
- Contribute to a positive and cohesive team environment.
