Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead inspectors in conducting thorough visual and mechanical inspections of vehicles.
- Accurately record inspection findings, observations, and data using designated software or forms.
- Verify vehicle identification numbers (VINs) and other relevant documentation.
- Perform basic checks on lights, tires, brakes, fluid levels, and exhaust systems.
- Ensure the inspection area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with vehicle owners regarding inspection procedures and results when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, safety regulations, and local inspection standards.
- Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment as directed by senior staff.
