Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms and bathrooms to Blue Mountain Inn's impeccable standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all surfaces.
  • Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms (e.g., toiletries, towels, stationery, coffee) as per established guidelines and guest preferences.
  • Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, dining areas, and staff areas, ensuring they are consistently tidy, welcoming, and safe.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damage, missing items, or safety hazards immediately to the housekeeping supervisor or front desk.
  • Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, such as providing extra towels, pillows, or assisting with other room-related needs.
  • Manage, sort, and organize linen, cleaning supplies, and equipment efficiently, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and waste disposal.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects, deep cleaning, and room turnarounds as assigned by the housekeeping management team.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and a courteous attitude towards guests and fellow team members at all times.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift for extended periods during shifts.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently and within deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
