Job Description
Are you a skilled integration specialist with a passion for connecting complex systems and unlocking data potential? PureNet is seeking a proactive and experienced Home-Based Application Integration Partner to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal remote role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing seamless integrations between our clients’ e-commerce platforms and various third-party applications, including ERP systems, CRM platforms, payment gateways, and marketing automation tools.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable integration solutions between e-commerce platforms and third-party systems (ERP, CRM, WMS, Payment Gateways, Marketing Automation).
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into detailed technical specifications and integration strategies.
- Develop and maintain API integrations, webhooks, and data transformation scripts using various programming languages and integration tools.
- Perform thorough testing and quality assurance of all integration points to ensure data accuracy, system reliability, and performance.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to data synchronisation and application connectivity.
- Document integration architectures, processes, and technical specifications for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Stay abreast of emerging integration technologies, best practices, and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal development teams on integration-related matters.
- Adhere to security best practices and compliance standards in all integration development.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in application integration, API development, and data synchronisation.
- Strong proficiency with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and other web service protocols.
- Experience with various integration patterns (e.g., ETL, pub/sub, message queues).
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., C#, Java, Python, PHP).
- Solid understanding of database concepts (SQL/NoSQL) and data modelling.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and cloud-based integration services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with remote teams and clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with specific e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify Plus, BigCommerce) and their APIs.
- Knowledge of integration platforms/iPaaS solutions (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Zapier, Microsoft Logic Apps).
- Certifications in relevant cloud technologies or integration platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of security protocols and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
