Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all catering operations, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery for events.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of catering staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, adhering strictly to client specifications and company standards.
- Manage inventory of catering supplies, equipment, and consumables, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times, ensuring a safe environment.
- Liaise directly with clients to confirm event details, address concerns, and ensure their complete satisfaction.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control in close coordination with the culinary team.
- Prepare and manage work schedules for catering staff, optimizing resource allocation and efficiency.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly, professionally, and to the satisfaction of the guest.
- Assist in budget management for catering operations and report on key performance indicators.
- Ensure all catering equipment is properly maintained, clean, and fully functional.
- Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event debriefings with staff to review performance and plan improvements.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in catering or food service supervision.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of motivating staff.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and quick decision-making in dynamic situations.
