Job Description
The Integration Engineer at Career.zycto will be a pivotal force in bridging our diverse technological landscapes. This role is fundamental to ensuring seamless communication and data exchange between our internal systems, third-party applications, and client platforms. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust integration solutions that drive our business forward, enhancing operational efficiency and enabling innovative product delivery.
Your day-to-day will involve diving deep into system architectures, identifying integration points, and crafting scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and data pipelines. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of integration projects, from initial requirements gathering and technical design to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. This includes working with various integration patterns such as RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, message queues, and ETL processes. A significant part of your contribution will involve translating complex business needs into technical specifications and collaborating closely with product managers, software developers, QA engineers, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions that exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable and robust integration solutions between various internal and external systems.
- Develop and manage APIs, web services (REST, SOAP), and other integration mechanisms.
- Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform system analysis, design reviews, and code reviews to ensure quality, security, and performance of integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor integration health, performance, and data integrity, implementing alerts and reporting.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration frameworks, tools, and best practices.
- Document technical designs, integration flows, and operational procedures.
- Stay updated with emerging integration technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, Go) relevant for integration development.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with API design principles (RESTful APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger).
- Experience with various integration patterns and technologies (e.g., message queues like Kafka/RabbitMQ, ETL tools, ESBs).
- Solid knowledge of data formats such as JSON, XML, Protobuf.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration services.
- Experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
