Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated Site Service Maintenance Electrician to join our client’s dynamic team in Bungoma County, Kenya. This pivotal role involves ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of critical electrical systems and machinery across an industrial site. You will be instrumental in preventing downtime, troubleshooting complex electrical issues, and executing planned maintenance tasks to the highest standards. Your work will directly support the seamless flow of operations, minimizing interruptions and maximizing productivity.

As a Maintenance Electrician Site Service, you will be responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of all electrical equipment, wiring, and control systems within the facility. This includes working with industrial machinery, power distribution systems, motor controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), lighting, and various control panels. Your proactive approach to maintenance will be crucial in identifying potential problems before they escalate, thereby safeguarding operational continuity and ensuring worker safety. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all electrical systems and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in machinery and control systems.
  • Install, inspect, and test electrical components and wiring according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to guide work.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and national electrical codes.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure seamless operational efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and troubleshoot issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular safety checks on electrical systems and recommend necessary improvements.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, and control circuits.

  • Familiarity with VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) and industrial instrumentation.
