Key Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas regularly to ensure safety and detect any suspicious activities.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras, to identify potential threats or incidents.
- Control access to premises, verifying credentials and managing visitor logs.
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and security breaches.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access.
- Conduct thorough searches of individuals and vehicles as per established protocols.
- Write detailed reports on observations, incidents, and daily activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary, providing essential information.
- Provide assistance to staff and visitors in a courteous and professional manner, always upholding public relations.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter crime and ensure a sense of security across all guarded premises.
- Perform routine checks on security equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any malfunctions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Security Guard or relevant position, with a minimum of 1.5 years.
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
- Solid understanding of surveillance systems and emergency response techniques.
- Strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate security equipment and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, including night shifts.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain immediately upon hire).
