Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and penetration testing.
- Develop, implement, and manage robust cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures for clients.
- Provide expert consultation on security architecture design, security controls, and incident response planning.
- Lead and participate in security audits, compliance reviews (e.g., ISO 27001, PDPA, GDPR), and regulatory assessments.
- Advise clients on best practices for data protection, cloud security, network security, and application security.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents, providing post-mortem analysis and recommendations for prevention.
- Research and evaluate new security technologies and threat intelligence to enhance client security postures.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for technical and executive stakeholders, articulating risks and solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the internal knowledge base of cybersecurity best practices.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or a related field.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
- Proficiency in performing risk assessments, vulnerability management, and penetration testing.
- Expertise in network security, endpoint security, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), and data loss prevention.
- Familiarity with various operating systems, network protocols, and security tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex topics clearly.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or equivalent.
- Experience with security automation and orchestration tools.
- Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for security tasks.
- Prior experience in a client-facing consulting role within Singapore.
