Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Conduct variance analysis between actual results and budget/forecasts, providing insightful commentary.
- Support the development and maintenance of financial models and data sets.
- Prepare regular financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for various stakeholders.
- Collaborate with different departments to gather financial data and understand business drivers.
- Identify and investigate financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Contribute to process improvements within the FP&A function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required by management.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
- Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion, SAP BPC) is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare clear and concise financial reports and presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Experience working in a remote or hybrid work model.
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
