Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and actively prospect for new clients within the Beaufort West area and surrounding regions.
  • Conduct thorough needs analyses to understand clients' financial goals and risk profiles.
  • Present and explain various insurance products (life, health, short-term, disability) in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Customise insurance solutions to meet individual client requirements and budgets.
  • Negotiate and close sales, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately completed.
  • Provide exceptional after-sales service and ongoing client support to foster long-term relationships.
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance products, market trends, and regulatory changes.
  • Manage and update client information within our CRM system efficiently.

Required Skills

  • Proven sales acumen and a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and target-driven.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
  • Valid South African driver's license and own reliable transport.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, CRM systems).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-matric qualification (e.g., NQF Level 4/5 in Wealth Management or similar).
  • Previous experience in insurance sales or financial services.
  • Existing network or client base in the Beaufort West area.
  • FAIS regulatory exams (RE5) completed or willingness to complete within a specified timeframe.
