Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Manage and motivate a team of warehouse staff, ensuring optimal performance, adherence to schedules, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Implement and enforce strict health, safety, and environmental standards within the warehouse, conducting regular safety briefings and inspections.
- Monitor inventory levels, perform regular stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to enhance efficiency and accessibility.
- Oversee the maintenance and proper operation of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Liaise with procurement, production, and distribution teams to ensure seamless product flow and timely order fulfillment.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse operations, performance metrics, and inventory status.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity, cost-efficiency, and service quality.
- Ensure all operations comply with company policies, local regulations, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or a similar role in a busy logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management techniques, and supply chain principles.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, train, and motivate a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Commitment to safety protocols and practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Valid forklift operator's license and experience with various material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of local regulations pertaining to warehousing and distribution in Lesotho.

- First Aid and Fire Safety certifications.
