Rogers Capital Technology Services is seeking a talented and experienced Mobile App Developer to join our dynamic team in Petite Rivière, Black River District. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications across various platforms that deliver intuitive and engaging experiences for our clients and their users. You will work within an agile environment, collaborating closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to bring innovative concepts to life, from initial ideation through to deployment and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and architectural guidelines.
- Implement and integrate APIs to connect mobile applications with backend services.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends, technologies, and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in one or more mobile development frameworks/languages (e.g., Swift/Objective-C for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android, Flutter/Dart, React Native).
- Strong understanding of the mobile app development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud messaging APIs.
- Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
