Key Responsibilities
- Set up and arrange buffet stations attractively prior to service, ensuring all necessary equipment and utensils are in place.
- Monitor food levels on the buffet line continuously and replenish items promptly to maintain a fresh and appealing presentation.
- Ensure all food items are served at appropriate temperatures and adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the buffet area, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning spills, and sanitizing serving utensils.
- Interact professionally and courteously with guests, answering questions about food items, and assisting with special requests.
- Assist in the breakdown of buffet stations after service, ensuring proper storage of food and cleaning of equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other service personnel to ensure smooth and efficient service flow.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, food quality concerns, or guest complaints to management promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to health, safety, and security.
