Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for plastering and drywall installation, including cleaning, sealing, and repairing imperfections.
- Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets with precision, ensuring accurate fitting and alignment.
- Apply various types of plaster (e.g., skim coat, textured, decorative) to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Mix plaster and other materials to the correct consistency, adhering to manufacturer specifications.
- Tape, mud, and sand drywall seams and joints to create smooth, seamless finishes.
- Perform finishing work, including sanding, texturing, and repairing damaged plaster or drywall.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Estimate material and time requirements for each job, minimizing waste and optimizing efficiency.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, properly storing tools and materials.
- Collaborate effectively with other construction team members and subcontractors.
Required Skills
