This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical prowess, and excellent communication skills, enabling you to translate complex ideas into captivating social narratives. You will work closely with our wider digital marketing team, including SEO and PPC specialists, to ensure integrated campaign approaches. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies tailored to client goals and target audiences across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok, etc.).
- Create, curate, and manage engaging written, visual, and video content for social media channels, ensuring brand consistency and adherence to best practices.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, mentions, and opportunities, actively engaging with followers and managing online communities.
- Plan and manage paid social media campaigns, including audience targeting, budget allocation, ad creation, and performance optimization.
- Conduct regular social media audits and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Analyse social media performance data, generate insightful reports, and provide actionable recommendations to clients and internal teams.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, algorithm changes, and best practices, integrating new strategies as appropriate.
- Collaborate with internal creative, content, and client management teams to ensure a unified approach to digital marketing campaigns.
- Manage social media calendars, scheduling posts and campaigns effectively to maximise reach and engagement.
- Provide regular updates to clients on campaign progress and results.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in social media management, content creation, and community engagement.
- Demonstrable understanding of key social media platforms and their respective algorithms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube).
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer) and analytics platforms (e.g., Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics).
- Strong content creation skills, including copywriting, basic graphic design (e.g., Canva), and familiarity with video content for social media.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Proficiency in English with a strong understanding of UK market nuances.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
