We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic team at a prominent hospitality establishment in Osogbo, Osun State. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all hotel equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, addressing issues such as faulty appliances, leaky faucets, and power outages.
- Conduct daily inspections of public areas, guest rooms, and back-of-house facilities to identify and rectify maintenance needs.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with various hotel systems and equipment, implementing effective repair solutions.
- Execute general carpentry, painting, plastering, and masonry work as required for facility upkeep and renovations.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and hotel policies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed, materials used, and equipment serviced.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems, coordinating with external contractors when necessary.
- Manage and organize the maintenance workshop, ensuring tools and spare parts are properly stored and inventoried.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests and staff, maintaining a professional and helpful attitude at all times.
- Participate in emergency response procedures, including fire safety and evacuation drills.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in general maintenance, ideally within a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems troubleshooting and repair.
