Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature enhancements, including positioning, messaging, and launch plans.
- Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify market opportunities and inform product roadmap decisions.
- Partner closely with Product Management, Design, Engineering, and Analytics teams to define product requirements and ensure market fit.
- Create compelling product messaging and narratives that clearly articulate value propositions to internal and external audiences.
- Collaborate with Marketing Communications, Content, and PR teams to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels.
- Monitor and analyze product performance post-launch, gathering insights to inform future product iterations and marketing strategies.
- Serve as the product expert and evangelist, educating sales, customer service, and other internal teams on product features and benefits.
- Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product launches and ongoing marketing initiatives, providing regular reports and actionable recommendations.
Required Skills
- 6+ years of progressive experience in Product Marketing, preferably within e-commerce, retail, or a consumer-facing technology company.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and growing digital products or services.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable marketing insights.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting clear, concise, and compelling narratives.
- Expertise in developing market positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and sales teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree (MBA) is a plus.
- Experience with A/B testing, marketing automation platforms, and CRM tools.
- Familiarity with the pet care industry and a genuine love for animals.
