Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and resolve issues before they escalate, ensuring a robust preventative maintenance schedule.
- Perform minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general building repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.
- Promptly respond to and resolve maintenance requests from staff, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and a high level of tenant satisfaction.
- Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts, initiating requisitions for new supplies as needed.
- Coordinate and supervise external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, installations, and projects, ensuring quality and adherence to schedules.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies within the facility.
- Assist in the setup and dismantling of equipment and arrangements for meetings, events, and office reconfigurations.
- Monitor and operate building systems, including fire alarms, security systems, and utility controls, reporting any anomalies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of facility maintenance best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Regularly assess the condition of the facility and propose improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and overall appearance.
Required Skills
- Proven hands-on technical proficiency in at least two of the following areas: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or HVAC systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with a practical, results-oriented approach.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, vendors, and management.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in various conditions.
