Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (e.g., rigid trucks, articulated lorries) on local routes in and around Landshut, Bavaria.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, reporting any defects promptly.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring securement to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify cargo against shipping documents, ensuring accuracy of deliveries.
- Maintain accurate electronic logbook (ELD) entries and delivery records.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, representing Career.zycto professionally.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers.
- Manage delivery schedules efficiently to meet time-sensitive commitments.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and keep the cab clean.
Required Skills
- Valid Class C/CE driving license (German equivalent) with appropriate endorsements.
- Valid Driver Qualification Card (Fahrerkarte) and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably on local routes.
- Clean driving record.
- Excellent knowledge of German traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and securing cargo.
