Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Provide support with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration, ensuring dietary needs are met.
  • Engage residents in social activities, conversations, and recreational programs.
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks in residents' rooms to maintain a tidy environment.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or cognitive status to nursing staff.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a sense of community.
  • Assist with medication reminders, adhering strictly to established protocols and under supervision.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided and observations.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures.
  • Respond promptly and compassionately to resident calls for assistance.

Required Skills

  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
