Key Responsibilities
- Develop clear, concise, and compelling advertising copy for a wide range of marketing materials, including digital ads (display, search, social), email campaigns, landing pages, website content, video scripts, and print collateral.
- Collaborate with marketing managers, product teams, and graphic designers to understand campaign objectives, target audiences, and key messaging points.
- Ensure all copy aligns with Western Digital's brand guidelines, tone of voice, and strategic objectives.
- Conduct research as needed to understand product features, market trends, and competitor messaging.
- Edit and proofread copy meticulously for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and factual accuracy.
- Iterate on copy based on feedback from internal stakeholders and performance data.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative concept development for new campaigns.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines.
- Stay informed on industry best practices in advertising copywriting and digital marketing trends.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 4 years) as an Advertising Copywriter, preferably with experience in the technology sector.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to write compelling, conversion-focused copy for diverse advertising channels and target audiences.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO best practices for copy.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into easily understandable and engaging language.
- Excellent self-management skills, including time management, organization, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite).
- A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of advertising copy examples.
