Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.
- Prepare work sites by gathering tools, materials, and equipment, and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Help in cutting, threading, and bending pipes, and assembling and installing various plumbing components.
- Learn to identify different types of pipes, fittings, and their appropriate applications.
- Support in troubleshooting and diagnosing plumbing problems, including leaks, clogs, and system failures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform general clean-up duties after plumbing tasks are completed.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the lead plumber or supervisor.
