Job Description

Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly organized and proactive A&R Administrator to join our vibrant team in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen. This pivotal full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive administrative and logistical support to our Artists & Repertoire department. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of all A&R activities, from managing critical administrative tasks and coordinating with artists and external partners, to maintaining vital project timelines. The ideal candidate will be at the core of our talent acquisition and development process, providing essential backend support that empowers our A&R managers to focus on discovering and nurturing groundbreaking talent. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the A&R team, including scheduling and correspondence.
  • Manage artist databases, demo submissions, and maintain accurate project files.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, and logistical support for artists and A&R personnel.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and track project budgets meticulously.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for artists, managers, and external partners.
  • Conduct research on market data, artist information, and industry trends.
  • Support event planning and coordination for showcases, recording sessions, and promotional activities.

Required Skills

  • Proven administrative experience, preferably within creative or entertainment industries.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a strong ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and approachable demeanor.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
