Career.zycto is seeking an experienced Hotel Safety Supervisor for an immediate start in Abakpa, Enugu. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of safety and security operations for a prominent hotel, safeguarding guests, staff, and company assets. You will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and enforcing comprehensive safety policies and procedures, conducting regular risk assessments, and ensuring strict compliance with all local and national safety regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hotel safety management, with proven leadership skills to guide and train a dedicated security team. You will be the point person for all safety-related matters, from emergency response coordination and incident investigation to fire safety drills and first aid protocols. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive hotel safety and security policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across all hotel premises.
- Oversee and manage the hotel's security personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate and conduct emergency preparedness drills, including fire safety, evacuation, and first aid.
- Investigate all security incidents, accidents, and breaches, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and federal safety, health, and environmental regulations relevant to the hospitality industry.
- Manage and maintain security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Provide ongoing safety training and awareness programs for all hotel staff.
- Act as the primary contact for local law enforcement, emergency services, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor guest and staff safety, identifying potential hazards and implementing preventative measures.
- Maintain accurate records of all safety-related activities, incidents, and training programs.
