Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and resilient FIFO Camp Services Attendant to join our expanding team. This full-time role is based out of Kassel, Germany, but involves Fly-In/Fly-Out assignments to various remote client sites across Europe, primarily focused on providing high-quality hospitality and facility management services. As a key member of our camp services team, you will be instrumental in creating a comfortable, clean, and welcoming atmosphere for our clients’ personnel who work in demanding conditions. Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of accommodation units, common areas, dining facilities, and ablution blocks to maintain impeccable hygiene standards.
- Assist with laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and personal clothing for camp residents.
- Support kitchen and dining room operations, including setting up and clearing tables, dishwashing, and assisting with food service as required.
- Manage and replenish stock levels of cleaning supplies, amenities, and other camp provisions.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment promptly to supervisory staff.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Provide friendly and helpful assistance to camp residents, addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive living experience.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality, cleaning, or a similar service-oriented role.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, in remote camp settings.
- Valid German work permit or eligibility to work in Germany.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a FIFO or remote site services environment.
- Certification in Food Safety & Hygiene (e.g., HACCP).
- Basic first aid certification.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
