Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the company's vehicle fleet using advanced tracking systems.
- Monitor vehicle locations, routes, fuel consumption, and driver behaviour in real-time.
- Analyse telematics data to identify inefficiencies, develop improvement strategies, and generate performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transport regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, and servicing schedules to minimise downtime.
- Investigate and resolve any fleet-related issues, including accidents, breakdowns, or tracking system malfunctions.
- Train and mentor drivers on best practices, safe driving techniques, and the effective use of tracking technology.
- Liaise with external suppliers, maintenance providers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to the selection, implementation, and optimisation of new fleet management technologies and software.
- Maintain accurate records of fleet assets, mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance history.
Required Skills
