Job Description
Career.zycto is seeking a meticulous and proactive Finance Officer to bolster our Corporate Support team in Forestville, Bristol. This pivotal role is central to maintaining the financial health and operational integrity of our organisation. You will be responsible for a diverse range of financial tasks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all corporate financial activities. This includes managing daily financial operations, assisting with month-end close processes, and contributing to the preparation of financial reports. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts accurately and on a timely basis.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Process expense claims, payroll data, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain robust financial records and documentation, ensuring audit readiness.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data and analysis.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure financial procedures are adhered to and support their operational needs.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, Sage)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
- Excellent data entry and reconciliation skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications
