Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and mobile payments securely.
- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets to customers.
- Greet customers warmly and ensure a positive checkout experience.
- Resolve customer complaints or refer them to management when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Scan goods, ensure proper pricing, and apply discounts as needed.
- Assist with bagging purchases and helping customers with their items.
- Keep track of daily transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of shifts.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially regarding cash handling and security.
