Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to individual customer needs.
- Achieve daily and weekly sales targets for cosmetics, skincare products, and beauty accessories.
- Demonstrate product application techniques, offer makeup artistry advice, and conduct mini-makeovers.
- Maintain an attractive, clean, and organized sales floor, product displays, and personal workstation.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- Engage with customers to build lasting relationships, foster loyalty, and promote loyalty programs.
- Stay up-to-date with current beauty trends, product knowledge, new launches, and competitor offerings.
- Participate in inventory management, including stocking shelves, monitoring product levels, and conducting stock counts.
- Assist with in-store events, promotions, and new product launches to drive engagement and sales.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally and courteously to ensure satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within the beauty, cosmetics, or luxury goods sector.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and a genuine passion for helping others.
- In-depth knowledge of cosmetics, skincare products, ingredients, and current beauty trends.
- Ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy for POS systems and inventory management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification or diploma in cosmetology, esthetics, or makeup artistry.
- Previous experience as a Beauty Advisor or Makeup Artist (MUA) in a high-volume retail environment.
- A strong portfolio showcasing makeup artistry skills (if applicable).
- Experience with clienteling software and loyalty program enrollment.
