Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive virtual health assessments, including symptom evaluation, medical history review, and medication reconciliation.
  • Provide patient education on health conditions, treatment plans, medication management, and preventive care through virtual platforms.
  • Triage patient calls and inquiries, determining urgency and appropriate level of care, and facilitating referrals to in-person services when necessary.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services.
  • Monitor and follow up on patient progress, addressing concerns and adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain strict patient confidentiality in a remote work environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with telehealth best practices and clinical guidelines.
  • Utilize various communication tools and telehealth technologies effectively to deliver high-quality remote care.
  • Assist patients with navigating healthcare resources and understanding insurance coverage related to telehealth services.

Required Skills

  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • High level of comfort and proficiency with technology, including video conferencing and patient portal platforms.

Preferred Qualifications
