Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented A&R Administrator to join our passionate team in Springfield, Chelmsford. This pivotal full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of the music industry, providing crucial administrative support to our Artists & Repertoire (A&R) department. As an A&R Administrator, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of artist discovery, development, and project management processes. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the A&R team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Maintain and update artist databases, tracking demo submissions, new talent leads, and artist development progress.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of artist contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation, liaising with the legal department as needed.
- Manage the submission and tracking of music assets, ensuring proper cataloguing and distribution to relevant parties.
- Process invoices, expenses, and royalty statements, working closely with the finance department to ensure accuracy and timely payments.
- Act as a central point of contact for internal teams and external partners, including artists, managers, producers, and publicists.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical files, ensuring all sensitive information is handled with confidentiality and precision.
- Assist with research into new artists, industry trends, and competitive analysis to support A&R strategy.
- Coordinate studio sessions, photo shoots, and other artist-related events.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence for the A&R department.
Required Skills
- Proven administrative experience, preferably within a fast-paced office environment (2+ years).
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general office software.
- Demonstrated passion for music and a basic understanding of the music industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Discretion and experience handling confidential information.
