Key Responsibilities
- Execute aircraft marshalling, guidance, and parking procedures with utmost precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Oversee and actively participate in the loading and unloading of passenger baggage, cargo, and mail, ensuring correct weight distribution and security.
- Operate and manage various ground support equipment (GSE) including pushback tugs, baggage loaders, and ground power units (GPUs) safely and efficiently.
- Conduct thorough pre-operational checks and routine inspections of all assigned equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
- Coordinate effectively with flight crews, airline representatives, and air traffic control to ensure timely and smooth aircraft turnarounds.
- Implement and enforce all airport and airline safety regulations, security procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Manage and maintain accurate documentation related to ground handling activities, including load sheets and equipment logs.
- Respond to unforeseen operational challenges with quick problem-solving and adaptive solutions to minimize delays.
- Provide clear and concise communication within the ground handling team and with external stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and security standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of coordinating with diverse teams.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform duties that involve lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid German Class B driving license; experience with airside driving is a significant advantage.

- Proficiency in German (B2 level or higher) and good working knowledge of English (B1 level or higher).
