Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload luggage, cargo, and mail onto and off aircraft, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Operate various baggage handling equipment, including belt loaders, tugs, and carts, following company and airport guidelines.
- Sort and transport luggage to designated areas, ensuring correct routing and timely delivery for connecting flights.
- Scan baggage tags accurately using handheld devices to track luggage movement and maintain precise records.
- Adhere strictly to all airport security regulations, airline procedures, and occupational safety standards.
- Identify and report any damaged luggage, irregular baggage, or operational issues to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with airline staff, ground crew, and security personnel to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including baggage claim areas and equipment storage zones.
- Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure functionality and report any maintenance needs.
Required Skills
