Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive web interfaces for various client projects.
- Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and development teams to understand project requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to front-end developers.
- Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders, incorporating feedback effectively.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards across all web projects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends, techniques, and technologies to ensure cutting-edge solutions.
- Ensure designs are optimized for various devices and browsers, focusing on performance, accessibility (WCAG standards), and SEO considerations.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, XD; Figma; Sketch).
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with the ability to create well-structured and semantic markup.
- Demonstrable UI/UX design skills with a strong, diverse, and well-organized online portfolio.
- Extensive experience with responsive and adaptive design principles and mobile-first approaches.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction and aesthetic details.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively under tight deadlines.
