Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming spare parts and materials, verifying against purchase orders for accuracy.
- Organize and store spare parts in designated locations within the store, ensuring proper labeling and accessibility.
- Maintain accurate manual and digital inventory records, performing regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Process requisitions for spare parts, ensuring timely and accurate retrieval and distribution to relevant departments or customers.
- Assist in the preparation of parts for dispatch, including packing and documentation.
- Monitor stock levels and report any shortages, overages, or damaged goods to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the spare parts store.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies regarding material handling and storage.
- Assist with periodic inventory audits and year-end stock counts.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in inventory management or a store/warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 25kg safely.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office Suite, especially Excel).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
