Career.zycto is actively seeking an inspirational and visionary Director of Research & Development to spearhead our innovation efforts in Mazowe, Mashonaland Central Province. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the long-term R&D strategy aligned with Career.zycto's overall business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing and diverse team of research scientists and engineers.
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from conceptualization and experimental design to market launch.
- Manage R&D budgets, resources, and timelines effectively, ensuring optimal allocation and return on investment.
- Foster a culture of innovation, scientific rigor, continuous improvement, and intellectual curiosity.
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate new technologies, research trends, and market opportunities relevant to agricultural innovation.
- Establish and maintain strategic collaborations with external partners, universities, and industry experts to accelerate research initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, safety protocols, and intellectual property rights.
- Present comprehensive research findings, progress reports, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Drive the protection, commercialization, and technology transfer of intellectual property developed within the R&D division.
