Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet all guests and visitors, providing an immediate positive impression of the hotel.
  • Proactively assist guests with luggage handling upon arrival and departure, ensuring efficiency and care.
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive information about hotel services, local attractions, dining, shopping, and transportation.
  • Make reservations for guests, including restaurants, tours, transportation, and entertainment, as per their preferences.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism, efficiency, and a problem-solving attitude.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and messages for guests, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and concierge desk area.
  • Anticipate guest needs and offer personalized assistance to enhance their overall stay.
  • Coordinate effectively with other hotel departments (e.g., Front Desk, Bell Staff, Housekeeping) to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Assist with special events or guest requests as needed, demonstrating flexibility and resourcefulness.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proven customer service experience, preferably in a hospitality setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent knowledge of Agege, Lagos, and surrounding areas, including attractions, dining, and transport.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and willingness to learn hotel property management systems (PMS).
  • A friendly, professional, and welcoming demeanor.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Impeccable personal presentation and grooming standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel or high-volume customer service environment.
  • A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Proficiency in an additional language commonly spoken in Nigeria or by international tourists (e.g., French, Yoruba, Igbo).
  • Certification in First Aid or CPR.
