Are you a proactive and highly skilled IT professional with a passion for optimizing system performance and providing exceptional technical support? Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated IT Systems Analyst Support to join our dynamic team in Mocubela, Zambezia Province. This full-time role is crucial for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. You will be at the forefront of identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical issues, while also playing a key role in the deployment, maintenance, and upgrade of our various IT systems.
As an IT Systems Analyst Support, you will bridge the gap between technical requirements and business needs. You’ll work closely with various departments to understand their challenges, translate them into actionable IT solutions, and provide ongoing support. Your day-to-day will involve everything from troubleshooting hardware and software problems, managing network configurations, assisting with data management, to implementing new system features. We are looking for someone who thrives in a problem-solving environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and is committed to continuous learning in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and application issues.
- Perform systems analysis, design, and develop solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
- Ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability and security.
- Manage and maintain data backups, ensuring data integrity and recovery capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
- Document technical procedures, user guides, and system configurations.
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, including system upgrades and new deployments.
- Train end-users on new software and hardware and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven working experience as an IT Systems Analyst or Support Specialist (3+ years)
- Solid experience in Windows/Linux operating system administration and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL)
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in Portuguese and English
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, MCSA, ITIL)
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python)
