Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior operators in monitoring power plant systems and equipment, including turbines, generators, boilers, and auxiliary systems, from the control room and on-site.
  • Conduct regular inspections and walk-throughs of plant facilities, identifying any anomalies, potential hazards, or equipment malfunctions.
  • Record and maintain accurate operational data, readings, and logs, ensuring compliance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the troubleshooting and basic maintenance of plant machinery and instruments under supervision.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of equipment start-up and shut-down procedures.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, environmental standards, and operational guidelines.
  • Participate in safety drills, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and maintenance personnel regarding operational status and any issues encountered.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the control room and designated work areas.
  • Support inventory management of operational consumables and spare parts.
