Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in systems and applications.
- Monitor security systems and tools for alerts, anomalies, and potential threats, initiating incident response procedures as required.
- Participate in the investigation and resolution of security incidents, providing detailed analysis and post-incident reports.
- Implement, manage, and optimize security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint protection, and SIEM solutions.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and security standards.
- Provide recommendations for security enhancements and assist in the deployment of new security technologies.
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to inform defensive strategies.
