Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior scientists and researchers in conducting various laboratory experiments and procedures.
  • Prepare reagents, solutions, and culture media accurately according to established protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results in lab notebooks or electronic systems.
  • Collect, process, and analyze samples as instructed, ensuring sample integrity and proper handling.
  • Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering supplies, receiving shipments, and organizing stock.
  • Dispose of chemical and biological waste in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding experimental design and results.
  • Learn and apply new laboratory techniques and procedures under supervision.

Required Skills

  • Strong foundational knowledge in biology, chemistry, or a related scientific field.
