Job Description

We are seeking an exceptionally perceptive and driven A&R Talent Scout to join our dynamic team, operating from the culturally rich Tuscumbia, Alabama area. Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a strong network of contacts within the music industry, including artists, managers, producers, and promoters.
  • Attend concerts, showcases, and industry events regularly to discover and assess potential signings.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of artist demographics, market trends, and commercial viability.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on prospective artists, including demos, bios, and competitive analysis, for internal review.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with signed artists, acting as a liaison between them and various internal departments.
  • Collaborate with legal, marketing, and production teams to facilitate artist signings and development plans.
  • Stay current with music industry innovations, new technologies, and evolving artist development strategies.
  • Negotiate and review artist contracts and agreements in conjunction with legal counsel.
  • Provide creative input and guidance to artists on their material, image, and overall career trajectory.
