Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons for primary and/or secondary students, aligned with the national curriculum and school standards.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration to support student academic and personal growth.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development programs.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavioral observations.
- Integrate educational technology effectively into teaching practices.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of curriculum and teaching resources.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field with a teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching primary or secondary students (minimum 2 years).
- Strong subject matter expertise in relevant primary/secondary disciplines (e.g., Mathematics, English, Science, Social Studies).
- Excellent classroom management and pedagogical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital learning tools.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs and styles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with international curricula (e.g., Cambridge, IB) is a plus.
- Fluency in both English and French.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Prior experience in extracurricular leadership or club advisement.
