Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior technicians with routine inspections and preventative maintenance of broadcast transmission equipment (transmitters, antennas, cabling, power systems).
  • Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues under supervision, documenting findings and repairs.
  • Support the installation and configuration of new broadcasting hardware and software.
  • Monitor broadcast signals and system performance, reporting anomalies promptly.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and operational procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and technical documentation.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development sessions to enhance technical skills.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and uninterrupted broadcast services.
  • Assist with emergency repairs and on-call duties as required, once adequately trained.
